On le sait, une concentration \u00e9lev\u00e9e en oestradiol et faible en progest\u00e9rone au moment de l\u2019\u0153strus s\u2019accompagne d\u2019une meilleure fertilit\u00e9. Il y a par ailleurs une interaction entre l\u2019intensit\u00e9 des manifestations oestrales et le stade de d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019embryon\u00a0: le transfert d\u2019un jeune blastocyste ou d\u2019une morula doit b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019une meilleure expression de l\u2019\u0153strus.<\/li>\n<li>L\u2019utilisation d\u2019un syst\u00e8me automatique de d\u00e9tection (podom\u00e8tre) assure une meilleure d\u00e9tection de l\u2019\u0153strus (89,2 % d\u2019\u0153strus d\u00e9tect\u00e9s) que le recours \u00e0 un marquage sur la croupe (65,2 % d\u2019\u0153strus d\u00e9tect\u00e9s).
