Animal Reproduction Science 232 (2021) 106825. <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.anireprosci.2021.106825\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.anireprosci.2021.106825<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>VOUS LE SAVIEZ MAIS JE VOUS LE RAPPELLE QUAND MEME \u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La progest\u00e9rone est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9 d\u2019obtention d\u2019une gestation compte tenu de ses effets sur l\u2019uterus et l\u2019embryon.<\/li>\n<li>L\u2019hCG inject\u00e9e 4 \u00e0 7 jours apr\u00e8s l\u2019\u0153strus contribue \u00e0 augmenter la synth\u00e8se de progest\u00e9rone par le corps jaune et \u00e0 induire l\u2019ovulation du follicule dominant pr\u00e9sent (diam\u00e8tre &gt; 8 mm\u00a0: cette induction s\u2019observe dans 60 \u00e0 74 % des cas apr\u00e8s l\u2019injection \u00e0 des g\u00e9nisses laiti\u00e8res d\u2019une dose de 1500 UI 7 jours apr\u00e8s l\u2019\u0153strus et dans 100 % des cas si la m\u00eame dose est administr\u00e9e 5 jours apr\u00e8s l\u2019oestrus \u00e0 des g\u00e9nisses \u00e0 viande), et donc ce faisant le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019un corps jaune accessoire (CJa), augmentant ainsi la concentration en progest\u00e9rone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>LEUR ETUDE<\/p>\n<p>Elle concerne l\u2019effet d\u2019une injection de 1500 UI d\u2019hCG au 5<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup> jour suivant l\u2019\u0153strus sur le % de gestation apr\u00e8s transfert d\u2019un embryon cong\u00e9l\u00e9 aux jours 6 \u00e0 8 du cycle \u00e0 des 571 g\u00e9nisses crois\u00e9es. Un suivi \u00e9chographique et hormonal a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en place aux jours 7, 14, 33, 40 et 47 apr\u00e8s l\u2019\u0153strus.<\/p>\n<p>LEURS OBSERVATIONS<\/p>\n<p>Les % de gestation ont \u00e9t\u00e9 au 30\u00e8me jour respectivement de 68,6 et 80,5 % chez les animaux non trait\u00e9s et trait\u00e9s et au 50<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup> jour de respectivement 65,3 et 76,2 %. Ces diff\u00e9rences sont significatives (P&lt;0.002 et 0.007). La localisation ipsilat\u00e9rale ou contral\u00e9rale du CJa n\u2019a pas eu d\u2019effet significatif.<\/p>\n<p>La progest\u00e9ron\u00e9mie s\u2019av\u00e8re \u00eatre sup\u00e9rieure 33 \u00e0 47 jours apr\u00e8s l\u2019\u0153strus chez les animaux trait\u00e9s (9 \u00e0 10 ng\/ml) que chez les animaux non trait\u00e9s (6 \u00e0 7 ng\/ml).<\/p>\n<p>24 % des corps jaunes accessoires (CJa de diam\u00e8tre \u2265 10 mm, observ\u00e9s dans 90,3 % des cas) r\u00e9gressent 30 \u00e0 50 jours apr\u00e8s l\u2019\u0153strus. Cette r\u00e9gression concerne bien davantage les CJa contralat\u00e9raux (49,3 %) qu\u2019ipsilat\u00e9raux (4,4 %). Semblable observation a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9e apr\u00e8s un traitement \u00e0 la GnRH au 5<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup> jour du cycle (Baez et al. 2017)<\/p>\n<p>Le traitement n\u2019a pas eu d\u2019effet significatif sur la mortalit\u00e9 embryonnaire tardive (4,7 vs 5,3 %).<\/p>\n<p>QUE CONCLURE<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019hCG contribue davantage \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la mortalit\u00e9 embryonnaire pr\u00e9coce (&lt; 30 jours) que tardive.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9gression du CJa s\u2018accompagne d\u2019une concentration moindre en progest\u00e9rone mais n\u2019affecte pas les % de gestation. Chez la vache laiti\u00e8re par contre cette r\u00e9gression se traduit par une augmentation du risque de mortalit\u00e9 embryonnaire tardive (Stevenson et al. 2008).
