Dairy Sci. 2022, 105:4679\u20134689 <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3168\/jds.2021-21431\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3168\/jds.2021-21431<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Nous allons pour ce faire comparer le parcours hormonal avant et apr\u00e8s l\u2019\u0153strus d\u2019une vache dont la production laiti\u00e8re est relativement faible voire d\u2019une g\u00e9nisse \u00e0 celle d\u2019une vache dont la production laiti\u00e8re est \u00e9lev\u00e9e (&gt; 40 litres) par jour.<\/p>\n<p>Commen\u00e7ons par le premier cas. Sit\u00f4t d\u00e9marr\u00e9e la lut\u00e9olyse, la concentration de la progest\u00e9rone (P4) diminue et on observe parall\u00e8lement une croissance du follicule dominant et une augmentation de la concentration en oestradiol (E2). Cet oestradiol est responsable via la GnRH de la lib\u00e9ration cyclique de la LH qui va induire l\u2019ovulation d\u2019un follicule de diam\u00e8tre optimal cad compris entre 15 et 20 mm. Les oestrog\u00e8nes seront \u00e9galement responsables d\u2019une manifestation optimale de l\u2019\u0153strus. Apr\u00e8s l\u2019ovulation, le follicule se transforme progressivement en corps jaune et la concentration de la progest\u00e9rone augmente.<\/p>\n<p>Voyons \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent le cas d\u2019une vache dont la production laiti\u00e8re est \u00e9lev\u00e9e. On observera d\u2019embl\u00e9e qu\u2019en fin de dioestrus la concentration en progest\u00e9rone est plus basse compte tenu du catabolisme h\u00e9patique plus \u00e9lev\u00e9. Cela entra\u00eene une pulsatilit\u00e9 plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e de la LH qui va contribuer \u00e0 allonger la p\u00e9riode de dominance du follicule. Comme dans le cas pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, la lut\u00e9olyse entra\u00eene une diminution de la concentration en progest\u00e9rone. Elle permet au follicule de poursuivre sa croissance. Cette croissance s\u2019accompage d\u2019une synth\u00e8se moindre mais plus longue de l\u2019oestradiol. Il en r\u00e9sulte une apparition plus tardive et moindre de la lib\u00e9ration de la LH qui coupl\u00e9e avec l\u2019allongement de la p\u00e9riode de dominance induit l\u2019ovulation d\u2019un follicule de diam\u00e8tre sup\u00e9rieur (18,6 vs 17,4 mm). De plus la r\u00e9duction de la concentration en progest\u00e9rone au moment de la d\u00e9viation de la croissance folliculaire augmente le risque de double ovulations (20,2 vs 6,9 %) et donc de g\u00e9mellit\u00e9. Par ailleurs, une synth\u00e8se moindre d\u2019oestradiol se traduit par un \u0153strus plus court (6,2 vs 10,9 h) et des signes moins caract\u00e9ristiques. Apr\u00e8s l\u2019ovulation le d\u00e9veloppement du corps jaune est moindre.
