Contraints par l\u2019impossibilit\u00e9 d\u2019allaiter naturellement tous les veaux et par les co\u00fbts de production, le recours aux <strong>lactoremplaceurs<\/strong> industriels est devenu courant. Un suivi de poids \u00e0 la naissance et au sevrage (env. 106 j) a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9, avec calcul du GMQ. Les veaux nourris avec le lactoremplaceur haute prot\u00e9ine ont atteint des concentrations moyennes en albumine nettement sup\u00e9rieures (jusqu\u2019\u00e0 <strong>31,5 \u00b1 2,4 g\/L<\/strong>) compar\u00e9es aux groupes conventionnels (autour de 27 g\/L), confirmant une meilleure assimilation des prot\u00e9ines et un m\u00e9tabolisme plus mature.<\/li>\n<li><strong>BHB (b\u00eata-hydroxybutyrate)<\/strong> : marqueur de la <strong>mise en route de la fermentation ruminale<\/strong>. Les concentrations ont augment\u00e9 significativement \u00e0 partir de la 10e semaine d\u2019\u00e2ge, d\u00e9passant le seuil de <strong>250\u2013300 \u00b5mol\/L<\/strong> dans les groupes recevant des lactoremplaceurs enrichis, ce qui indique une <strong>stimulation plus rapide de la fonction ruminale<\/strong>. Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne est essentiel \u00e0 la transition vers l&#8217;alimentation solide.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Autres param\u00e8tres<\/strong> : une <strong>augmentation du cholest\u00e9rol<\/strong> et des NEFA avec l\u2019\u00e2ge, principalement chez les veaux sous r\u00e9gime hyperprot\u00e9in\u00e9, a \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9e. Pour obtenir ce b\u00e9n\u00e9fice :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Il est crucial d\u2019assurer un <strong>volume suffisant (\u22656 L\/jour)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>L\u2019origine des prot\u00e9ines (laiti\u00e8re ou v\u00e9g\u00e9tale) importe moins que la <strong>qualit\u00e9 globale du profil nutritionnel<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Le suivi des biomarqueurs permet de <strong>v\u00e9rifier en continu l\u2019impact de l\u2019alimentation sur la sant\u00e9 m\u00e9tabolique.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\ud83d\udcac Discussion : comment ces r\u00e9sultats s\u2019inscrivent dans la litt\u00e9rature<\/h3>\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats de l\u2019\u00e9tude RumeXperts confirment et prolongent les observations faites dans la litt\u00e9rature scientifique des dix derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es concernant les <strong>lactoremplaceurs riches en prot\u00e9ines<\/strong> :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Les travaux de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0022030216304945\">Hill et al. (2016)<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0022030216000746\">Chapman et al. (2016)<\/a> montrent que des teneurs en <strong>prot\u00e9ines brutes de 27\u201328 %<\/strong>, similaires \u00e0 celles utilis\u00e9es dans le groupe \u00ab\u202flactoremplaceur haute prot\u00e9ine\u202f\u00bb, <strong>am\u00e9liorent significativement la croissance et la digestibilit\u00e9 chez les veaux laitiers<\/strong>. Les r\u00e9sultats de l\u2019\u00e9tude belge confirment cette tendance chez une race \u00e0 viande.<\/li>\n<li>Dans la pr\u00e9sente \u00e9tude, le GMQ des veaux nourris avec un lactoremplaceur \u00e0 27 % PB et 4L\/jour atteint <strong>0,80 kg\/j<\/strong>, tr\u00e8s proche des <strong>0,87 kg\/j observ\u00e9s en allaitement maternel<\/strong>. Ce niveau de performance est comparable \u00e0 celui observ\u00e9 dans les \u00e9tudes de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S2590286520300380\">Jaeger et al. (2020)<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0022030220307281\">Grice et al. (2020)<\/a>, o\u00f9 des r\u00e9gimes hyperprot\u00e9in\u00e9s coupl\u00e9s \u00e0 une fr\u00e9quence d\u2019alimentation ad\u00e9quate permettent des croissances \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/li>\n<li>Sur le plan <strong>m\u00e9tabolique<\/strong>, la progression de l\u2019albumine chez les veaux BBB suit \u00e9galement les dynamiques d\u00e9crites dans d&#8217;autres travaux. Par exemple, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/journals\/animal\/article\/effects-of-feeding-level-and-protein-content-of-milk-replacer-on-the-performance-of-dairy-herd-replacements\/877696537651D0266006F4B5395ED53E\">Morrison et al. (2009)<\/a> ont montr\u00e9 que les <strong>effets d\u2019un r\u00e9gime lact\u00e9 riche en prot\u00e9ines se maintiennent dans le temps<\/strong>, avec une influence visible sur le m\u00e9tabolisme jusqu\u2019au premier v\u00ealage.<\/li>\n<li>La r\u00e9ponse en BHB (&gt;250 \u00b5mol\/L d\u00e8s la 10e semaine dans le groupe haute PB) renforce les conclusions de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/2076-2615\/12\/14\/1756\">Schubert et al.
